Pour comprendre comment ces transactions sont validées, examinons le processus de « minage. » Ce processus est essentiel pour comprendre ce qu’est le « événement de Halving » et pourquoi il est si important pour la communauté BTC.
Comment fonctionne Bitcoin ?
Lorsque vous effectuez une transaction sur la blockchain Bitcoin, elle est envoyée à tous les participants du réseau, y compris les mineurs et autres nœuds validateurs. Les mineurs ont pour tâche de vérifier si la transaction est valide en examinant plusieurs facteurs, tels que votre solde disponible et votre signature numérique, ainsi que si les valeurs entrées correspondent aux valeurs sortantes. Si un mineur détermine que votre transaction est légitime, il l’ajoute à son « bloc candidat, » qui est constitué de plusieurs transactions à traiter que le mineur tentera de valider.
Une fois un bloc candidat valide, le but du mineur est de résoudre une énigme cryptographique imposée par le protocole Bitcoin. Cela se fait via l’algorithme de consensus Proof-of-Work. Le premier mineur à trouver une solution à l’énigme obtient le droit de valider son bloc candidat et gagne ainsi des frais de transaction et des BTC nouvellement générés (la récompense de bloc).
Les récompenses BTC que les mineurs reçoivent pour leur travail de calcul sont la manière dont de nouveaux bitcoins entrent en circulation.
